Which copy of a duplicate is kept?
The first time a line appears is kept and later repeats are removed, so your list stays in its original order.
Are “Apple” and “apple” duplicates?
Only if you turn on “Ignore case”. By default capitals matter. “Trim spaces” also treats lines that differ only by leading or trailing spaces as the same.
Is there a size limit?
No fixed limit. Lists with hundreds of thousands of lines work in a modern browser because everything runs locally.
