Most frequent words, ignoring common ones like “the” and “and”.
How to change text case
Choose UPPERCASE, lowercase, Title Case or Sentence case, then type or paste your text. The converted version appears as you type. Copy it, or use Replace my text to keep editing the converted version.
Title Case follows common headline style: main words are capitalized, short words such as “and”, “of” and “the” stay lowercase in the middle of a title.
Frequently asked questions
What does Title Case change?
It capitalizes the main words and keeps short words like “a”, “of” and “the” lowercase unless they start or end the title or follow a colon. Acronyms such as NASA keep their capitals.
What is Sentence case?
Only the first letter of each sentence is capitalized, plus the word “I”. It is the style most newspapers and apps use for headings.
Can I convert text that is all in capitals?
Yes. If a line is mostly capitals, Title Case treats it as shouting and converts every word, instead of keeping each one as an acronym.
