Merge PDF Files

Combine several PDFs into one document. Drag the files into the order you want, pick which pages to include from each, and download a single PDF. Everything happens in your browser, so your documents stay private.

How to merge PDF files

  1. Drop your PDFs onto the box above, or click it to choose them. You can add more at any time.
  2. Drag the files into the order you want, use the arrows, or press Sort A–Z.
  3. To use only part of a file, type the pages in its Pages box, for example 1-3, 5.
  4. Press Merge PDF. Your combined PDF downloads straight away.

When to combine PDFs

  • Applications and forms: put your CV, cover letter and certificates in one file when a portal accepts only a single upload.
  • Invoices and receipts: join a month of invoices or expense receipts into one PDF for your accountant.
  • Scanned documents: combine pages scanned separately back into one document.
  • Reports and study notes: merge chapters, slides and appendices into a single file that is easy to share and print.

Exact copies, no quality loss

Pages are copied exactly as they are in the original files, including text, images, fonts and links, so the merged PDF looks the same and its text stays selectable and searchable. Bookmarks and fillable form fields from the original files aren’t carried over.

Private by design

Most online PDF tools upload your files to their servers. This one runs entirely in your browser, so confidential documents never leave your computer or phone. There’s no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how often you use it.

Frequently asked questions

How do I merge PDF files into one?

Drop your PDF files onto the box above or click to choose them. Drag them into the right order (or use the arrows), optionally type which pages to include from each file, then press Merge PDF. The combined file downloads straight away.

Can I merge only some pages of a PDF?

Yes. Each file has a “Pages” box. Leave it empty to include every page, or type pages and ranges such as 1-3, 5 or 8- (page 8 to the end). Pages are added in the order you type them.

How many PDFs can I combine?

You can merge up to 50 files at once. There’s no page limit; very large documents (hundreds of MB) depend on your device’s memory.

Will merging reduce the quality?

No. Pages are copied exactly as they are, including text, images, links and fonts, so the merged PDF looks identical to the originals. Text stays selectable and searchable.

Are my PDF files uploaded to a server?

No. Your PDFs are processed by your own browser on your device and never leave it, so contracts, bank statements, IDs and medical records stay private. The tool keeps working even if you go offline after the page has loaded.

Why won’t my PDF open?

Password-protected (encrypted) PDFs can’t be edited until the password is removed. Open the file in your PDF reader, enter the password and save or print a copy without protection, then try again. Damaged files may also fail to open.

Is it really free? Is there a watermark?

Yes, it is completely free with no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limit. Very large files are limited only by your device’s memory.
