How to count days between dates
Pick a start and end date. The result shows the number of days, the same span in weeks and months, and how many of those days are weekdays. Use the second calculator to find a date a number of days or working days from now, such as a payment term or notice period.
Frequently asked questions
Is the end date included?
By default the count runs from the start date up to, but not including, the end date, which is how nights in a hotel or days until a deadline are counted. Tick “Include end date” to count both days.
How are working days counted?
Working days are Monday to Friday. Public holidays differ by country and aren’t subtracted, so deduct them yourself if needed.
Can I add business days to a date?
Yes. Use “Add or subtract days” and tick “Business days only” to skip weekends, for example to find a payment due date 30 working days from now.
